Camp and Brew Update Archive
April 25, 2009
No, it’s not an age restriction for the women we intend to let into Camp and Brew…It’s how few days are left before the 2009 launch of the most famous event to hit the Coke Lot!
"What’s new" you ask ?!? Well, we are considering using Twitter to Tweet directly from C&B so that remote fans, stalkers and our many legions of incarcerated followers can be kept up to the minute on what, if anything, is going on in a real time way. Since we have Turdy Birdy in the C&B Port-O-John, we thought that you would enjoy our Twitters from the Sh***er! (Note: TommyD humor)
Chairs and a couch – Every year, we get people asking “What can I bring to C&B to help you out?”. Well, we always seem to be short chairs. The folding kinds are best, but we won’t turn away a full dinette set either! And the couch! After hauling one from more than 2 hours away for 4 years, this has become too difficult for us to arrange. So if you, or a neighbor has one we can use and they foolishly gave you a key to their house while on vacation, we’d love to have it!
What else can you bring? Ice is always nice. Some fire
wood sure would be good. Pizza and Wings would make us sing. Burgers and Fries
for the girls and the guys. A Pastrami for Tommy would be OK. We’d even like
Green Eggs and Ham to enjoy at the site, while flying a kite. And with Donuts
from Long’s, ya just can’t go wrong. We are anything but picky!
As always we are still looking for a couch for the event. Our standards are pretty
low, but cushions (mismatched or otherwise) at a minimum, are required. Do you
live in Indy and have one you are willing to part with? How about a Grandma of
yours that just doesn't remember where she puts things? Bring hers! See one on
the curb somewhere that we can use? Haul it in and we'll thank you graciously!
As the season gets underway soon, stop back in a few weeks for additional updates!
